Beyond how often should you wash your hair extensions, daily habits matter just as much. It’s advisable to brush the strands several times a day to prevent tangling. In the pool, it’s better to wear a swim cap, as chlorine can damage both the hair structure and the bonds. High temperatures in saunas or tanning beds are also not ideal due to the risk of weakening the attachments. Sun exposure requires control too, as UV rays gradually break down adhesive bonds. In summer, before heading outside, always use sprays, creams or oils with UV protection.
